Frame Marquee for Garden Parties

Aluminium frame marquees are the modern equivalent of the traditional pole peg marquee.

Frame marquees are ‘clear span’ having no centre poles, giving an obstruction-free internal area.  Because they don’t have guy ropes they take up less space and can be used on tight awkward sites.

They are secured to the site using standard ground anchors or held in place with ballast weights or rawl bolts.  Frames are designed to be more stable than traditional pole peg marquees, which makes them ideal for winter use where strong winds and potential snow-loading could be a factor.

James Fletcher Marquees have frames available in 3m, 6m, 9m, 12m, 15m, 20m, 25m and 30m widths.  We are the only company in the North of England to have 30m wide ‘clear span’ marquees in stock for hire.

All frames are modular and can be increased in length in 3m or 5m sections.

Traditional Marquee

Traditional marquees are the original option for temporary outside cover.  They have been used for hundreds of years but are still as popular today as they have ever been.

Marquees have guy ropes and internal centre poles which some clients prefer for their rustic appearance.

We manufacture our own traditional marquees in-house and they are available in 12’, 20’, 30’, 40’, 50’ and 80’ widths.  All of our marquees can be increased in length by either 10’ or 20’ sections.  James Fletcher Marquees are the only company in the North of England to have 80’ wide traditional marquees in stock for hire.

Traditional marquees are less labour intensive than frames to erect and because we manufacture our own they are often the more affordable option.

Pagodas for garden parties

Pagodas or Chinese hat marquees are available in either 3m x 3m, 5m x 5m or 6m x 6m with an attractive single peak.

Because of their free standing design without guy ropes they are particularly popular for small parties and can be used on grass or hard standings.  They can be erected right up to the side of a house or building creating extra outside space.

They can be fitted with an inner lining, flooring, solid glass or pvc windows, lights and carpeting and when linked together they create an impressive venue.
