Harrogate Christmas Market

The Christmas Market returns to Harrogate offering a range of different stall types from tables in the Food and Drink Marquee to traditional outdoor market stalls. This is a free event and prides itself on being a traditional British or 'Yorkshire' market - not a continental market.

As well as 200 traders, Harrogate Christmas Market features children's funfair rides and Santa in his Grotto - complete with real reindeer!  Local buskers provide music throughout the weekend to add to the festive atmosphere.

Brian Dunsby, the Chief Executive of Harrogate of Trade and Commerce which is organising the event said "In 2013, we had around 150 stalls and were selling the final few spaces in late October. This year, we expect to sell out in around half the time.  We try to maintain variety, so if your product in unique, contact us."  Space in Craft and Gift Marquee has proved particularly popular with only a handful of spaces remaining. Last year the market attracted over 52,000 visitors over the 4 day period making it a record braking year.

James Fletcher Marquees have provided the marquees, market stalls and pedestrian barriers since 2013. The food and drink marquee has a seating area for visitors to refuel and relax before visiting the craft and gift marquee to browse the wide of range of local bona fide Christmas gifts not available on the high street.
